I’m a writer and freelance journalist, working for newspapers, magazines, and media organisations in Scotland and the UK. My work is now focused on heritage, sport, travel, and food & drink, but I’ve also covered health, business, and lifestyle. I blog too, about my home city Glasgow, writing about social and local history, and community news.

I edited and published local news website westendreport.com (2012-18), was a co-writer on Scottish Memories: Immigration Stories (published by Trust Housing Association 2010), and my narrative essay Bramble Jam was included in the Scottish Book Trust anthology Nourish (2017).
